Is Your

Frustration

Building?

YOU want to help your child, but maybe you aren’t familiar with today’s job search environment. Or you simply don’t have the time to devote to it.  Both of you feel the tension rising. Whether they’re a current college student, a recent graduate or early in their career, today’s choices can be mind-boggling. Matching your child’s talents, skills and passions with the right opportunity can be overwhelming. They need different resumes for on-line and off-line applications, cover letters, and a profile for LinkedIn. Plus networking and interviewing skills for phone, video and in-person meetings. And perhaps, most importantly, confidence and motivation.

CAN’T they do this on their own?

If you’re reading this, you already realize this is one skill they didn’t teach in college. And because of the nature of today’s job market, with job-changing typically occurring every 2-3 years, it’s a critical skill set and an investment for a lifetime.

My Story

Like you, I have young adult children starting their careers. Fortunately, I found the time to dig into their job search. Unexpectedly, I discovered how much I enjoyed the process. People told me that I’d developed the expertise and passion to teach what I’d learned to other twenty-somethings. A friend saw what I was doing and asked me to edit their child’s resume. Then another asked me to help their son who graduated from college a few years ago to find his career path. That was the beginning. So here I am combining my job search knowledge, a strong marketing background, and a passion and desire to help young people who are champing at the bit to unleash their potential on the world.
